In short

We process personal data only as far as it is needed to run this website and to handle your order. We use no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies and load no fonts or scripts from third parties.

Hosting and delivery

The website is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, with data centres in the EU). Connection data such as IP address, time and the page requested is processed to deliver the site securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses also apply.

Orders

For orders we process name, address, email address, order details and payment status to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Order data is stored with Supabase (Supabase Inc., database in Frankfurt am Main). We keep records relevant to invoices for up to ten years, as commercial and tax law requires (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland), which receives the data needed for the payment and issues the invoice. If you choose PayPal, PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg, also processes your payment data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We never receive full card or account details.

Order emails

After payment we send an order confirmation, and when your order ships a shipping notice with tracking, to the email address given at payment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). They are sent through Cloudflare's email service. We don't send advertising.

Storage in your browser

When you choose a language, we remember it in a cookie (ruck_lang). Your cart is kept in your browser's local storage and is not sent to us until you go to checkout. Both are needed for the features you use (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Contact us at service@newmatik.com.
